Former Pfizer exec Takes Global Marketing Post at Vantage

Vantage Data Centers has hired Ed Harnaga as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. He is joining the company from Pfizer to oversee global marketing operations for the hyperscale infrastructure provider.
Ed will manage brand strategy, corporate reputation, public relations, executive communications and regional marketing operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America and Asia Pacific. He reports to Jeff Tench, Executive Vice President at Vantage Data Centers.
Marketing infrastructure at scale
As the data centre sector experiences demand growth from AI and cloud computing clients, Vantage expects Ed to work with sales, public policy, sustainability, product and executive leadership teams to support customer expansion and market positioning.

Pharmaceutical communications background
Ed transitions from the pharmaceutical sector. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Pfizer, where he led global communications operations including corporate reputation, media relations, digital and social media, branding and stakeholder engagement.
At Pfizer, he directed the company's first corporate rebranding in more than 75 years. He also managed global communications during the COVID-19 pandemic response.
Before Pfizer, Ed held leadership roles at FTI Consulting and Ruder Finn. He has advised Fortune 500 businesses on public affairs, brand strategy, executive communications and corporate reputation over a career spanning more than 30 years.
His experience covers corporate transactions, business transformations and public policy matters across technology, healthcare and consumer sectors.
