ŌURA Announces New Brand Ambassadors Ahead of US Open

If a piece of healthtech is good enough for elite athletes, then surely it’s good enough for the average consumer.
That’s the point ŌURA is looking to get across in its latest campaign, with the brand partnering with tennis players Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz ahead of the US Open – as it looks to spotlight how its product can support a holistic approach to health.
As part of the partnership, Coco and Taylor will wear the Ōura Ring 5 throughout the tournament to showcase the data and insights the ring can offer. According to the brand, this product can fit “seamlessly” into the demands of elite competition – as well as in everyday life – by giving users actionable information to improve their health.
This, ŌURA says, offers its athlete ambassadors a more complete picture of their health to help them make more informed decisions.
“Coco and Taylor each bring a distinctive approach to elite sport,” says Doug Sweeny, Chief Marketing Officer at ŌURA. “Coco’s approach to preparation and performance, alongside Taylor’s consistency and discipline, reflects our belief that athletes – and everyone – can be at their best by understanding their bodies over time.
“These partnerships are part of ŌURA’s long-term strategy to work with athletes who share our vision for a more thoughtful, sustainable approach to health and performance.”

Promoting data-driven health insights
ŌURA’s partnership with Coco and Taylor will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign featuring both athletes.
This campaign will focus on the two tennis player’s off-court stories, highlighting how they have each pursued their ambitions – with Coco’s story taking place at her family’s alma mater where her grandfather was one of the first Black students to enrol, and Taylor’s exploring his journey into entrepreneurship.
“People see the results, but they don't see everything that goes into being ready to compete at this level, week after week,” says Coco. “For me, staying composed under pressure isn't something that just happens on the court – it starts with how well I understand my own body, especially during a long tournament when there's so little time to recover between matches.
“That's what drew me to ŌURA . It's not about chasing numbers, it's about actually listening to what my body is telling me and incorporating that into how I train and recover.”
ŌURA’s elite sports ambassadorships
Cocoa and Taylor are the latest addition to ŌURA’s roster of athlete ambassadors competing at the highest level, as the company increases its presence across global sport.
In June, ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, ŌURA announced long-term partnerships with Harry Kane and Declan Rice, who featured in a campaign centred around game readiness. This campaign was supported by high-footfall digital OOH placements in locations such as Piccadilly Circus, BOXPARK Wembley and Canary Wharf.
“At the highest level of football, I’ve always believed that preparation is not just what happens on the pitch, but what happens off it too,” Harry Kane said of the partnership. “That’s why I’m excited to partner with ŌURA and use Oura Ring 5. Leading my country into this major tournament means every single percentage matters.
“When you’re competing on the world stage, knowing exactly when to push your body and prioritise recovery is key to securing those extra gains.
“With the personalised insights from my ŌURA Ring, I can track my performance and recovery in real-time and ensure I’m always ready to perform at my absolute best.”
