Remote Launches new Global Brand Campaign and Identity

Global workforce finance platform Remote has unveiled a complete brand redesign and repositioning to reflect its expanding market role.
Created in partnership with brand agency COLLINS, the repositioning comes as Remote experiences rapid growth in its core operational metrics. The company currently processes billions in payroll annually and has recorded 300% year-over-year growth in its payroll business.
āOur mission is distilled into three words: pay the world,ā says Job van der Voort, CEO and co-founder of Remote.
āA few months ago, we announced we were going all in on building the infrastructure to solve the really hard stuff: hiring and paying people compliantly, globally. Today, our brand matches the ambition and innovation of what we're building.ā
A new visual identity
The updated visual identity incorporates design elements tied to global commerce. The new colour palette draws from currency notes in over 77 countries worldwide, featuring gradients of reds, oranges, greens, blues and violets.
The primary visual symbol is a structural cube representing modular infrastructure units that combine to support custom corporate frameworks.
āOur palette is pulled from currencies around the world,ā says Job. āWe pay people in a lot of local currencies every day, and pretending money comes in one corporate hue felt wrong.ā
- Currency inspiration from over 77 nations: The updated visual identity incorporates a colour palette derived from banknotes in more than 77 countries worldwide.
- US$300 million in ARR: The platform surpassed US$300m in annual recurring revenue earlier in the year.
- Billions in annual payroll: The company currently processes billions in payroll each year.
- Q4 2026 campaign across seven financial hubs: The global marketing push covers London, New York, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Madrid and San Francisco throughout the fourth quarter of 2026.
- 300% annual payroll growth: Remote recorded 300% year-on-year growth in its payroll operations.
For a world that works
To support the repositioning, Remote is launching its largest marketing effort to date titled ‘For a World That Works’.
Produced with Stink Studios, the campaign includes digital and out-of-home advertising across major financial hubs including London, New York, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Madrid and San Francisco throughout the fourth quarter of 2026.
Behind the repositioning
The rebrand specifically addresses hurdles faced by finance leaders managing international teams.
According to Remote, its infrastructure can support the complexities arising from increasing operational difficulty with cross-border payments.
Demand for cross-border payroll infrastructure is widening beyond tech sector early adopters, with Remote reporting rising adoption across broader industries looking to consolidate workforce expenditure and data.
Remote's system unifies payroll, employment records and operational workforce data within one system of record, eliminating hand-reconciled spreadsheets.
Our old brand stopped reflecting who we are. So we rebuilt it around the engine we actually run.”
āGlobal payroll is deceptive,ā says Job. āOn the surface it looks simple. Underneath, itās a labyrinth of local tax codes, shifting statutory requirements, fragmented banking rails and currency conversions across dozens of jurisdictions. For global companies, getting it right is non-negotiable.
āGetting it right takes heavy, unglamorous groundwork: local legal entities, connections into local payment systems and infrastructure built from the ground up.
āWeāve built Remote that way from day one, and those years of foundations are what let us take on the rest.
āOnce we committed to that, our old brand stopped reflecting who we are. So we rebuilt it around the engine we actually run.ā
