Red Bull Partners With Dubai Basketball for 2026/27 Season

Dubai Basketball has named Red Bull as its Official Energy Drink Partner for the 2026/27 season. 

The partnership is designed to build on Dubai Basketball's growth, while also creating new experiences for fans and the wider basketball community throughout the city. 

“Red Bull and Dubai Basketball share a belief in pushing boundaries and creating experiences that people remember,” says Dejan Kamenjašević, Dubai Basketball President. 

“This partnership gives us the opportunity to bring that energy directly to our fans and the wider community, creating new ways for people to experience basketball and be part of what we are building in Dubai.”

Through the partnership, Red Bull will have a visible presence around Dubai Basketball’s matchday and training environments, while also collaborating with the team on content and communications throughout the basketball season. 

The highest-altitude basketball dunk

To announce the partnership, Dubai Basketball stars Dzanan Masa and Justin Anderson were tasked with pulling off the world’s highest-altitude basketball dunk.

The two basketball players took to the helipad of Mandarin Oriental Downtown Hotel in Al Wasl Tower, Dubai, where they were captured in dramatic aerial footage documenting the transition from sunset to nightfall

This concluded with a display of 600 illuminated drones forming the Red Bull and Dubai Basketball logos above the city – inspired by Red Bull’s iconic slogan “Red Bull gives you wings”. 

Building on basketball

This partnership comes as Dubai Basketball enters its third season, remaining the first and only sports franchise representing Dubai and the UAE on an international stage. With a schedule spanning the EuroLeague and the ABA League, the team is continuing the build on a new sense of basketball culture in the city. 

A programme of activations has been designed as part of this partnership, designed to bring fans closer to the team while also supporting this continued basketball growth. This includes Red Bull helping to create dedicated spaces for the local community to play and connect with basketball. 

Red Bull and Dubai Basketball will also collaborate on a series of digital and fan-led initiatives throughout the season, which will give fans the opportunity to play a more active role in the sport through interactive voting and content across both the Red Bull and Dubai Basketball brands.
