The new campaign is designed to celebrate individuality through fashion and music, says Joon Silverstein, Chief Marketing Officer of Coach

Coach is bringing music into its marketing strategy.

The luxury fashion brand has launched ‘Live Your Story’, its Fall 2026 campaign designed to celebrate how style and music can enable self-expression and real-world connection. Through the campaign, the company is promoting its Tabby bag, as well as a new collection of concert ticket bag charms.

This builds on Coach’s ongoing identity-led marketing – with the company releasing campaigns such as the &Coach brand platform earlier in 2026, which partnered with people such as Charli xcx, Malala Yousafzai and PinkPantheress and focused on celebrating individuality and sense of self.

As part of the campaign, the company is partnering with Spotify, bringing music into the campaign and featuring five global ambassadors – four of whom are musicians.

“At Coach, we start with the people, not the category – listening closely to what matters to them and how they are navigating the world. In our conversations with Gen Z, we heard a powerful tension: they long to spend less time behind screens and connect more deeply in real life, but stepping out of digital comfort and into the vulnerability of being fully present takes courage,” says Joon Silverstein, Chief Marketing Officer of Coach.

“Music is uniquely powerful in creating space for real connection. It is deeply personal – a soundtrack to identity and emotion – but it also creates a shared language that helps people find one another and feel they belong.

“‘Live Your Story’ brings our purpose, the Courage to Be Real, to life by showing what can happen when people take that step together – when individual expression becomes shared experience.”

Celebrating individual style and personal expression

The four films released as part of the campaign each feature a different musician, each contributing one of their own songs to the soundtrack to allow music and personal style to shape the campaign.

These films, Coach says, have been designed to highlight the way that individual style and music can help people enable self-expression and connection.

Elle Fanning also appears in each film, alongside Gen Z music-lovers, who each have a personal story about how live music has changed their lives and their sense of self.

Why Spotify?

This campaign was inspired by conversations the company had with Gen Z consumers, who shared a desire to spend less time on screens and more time connecting with the real world – as well as a belief that music, especially live music, can be a powerful way to connect with people and express yourself.

The decision to partner with Spotify was made as it is one of the least regretted places that young people spend time online, and can help young people discover music, artists and creators in ways that bring value.

This partnership includes a bespoke ‘Live your Story’ hub on Spotify, where fans can share their personalised listening persona and explore playlists that are shaped by their music tastes.

“This fall, Coach and Spotify come together in a first-of-its-kind global cultural partnership built around a clear insight: Gen Z doesn't separate identity into categories," says Joon. “What they wear, what they listen to and the communities they belong to are all part of the same personal story.

“Coach champions the courage to explore and express who you are, while Spotify shapes how people discover and engage with music, artists, and creators. Together, we're creating shared experiences at the intersection of music and style that bring people together and come alive through participation as people shape them and make them their own.”
