Annabel Rake, Deloitte EMEA's New Chief Marketing Officer

Annabel Rake will be taking on the Chief Marketing Officer role for Deloitte EMEA, following the companyâs launch in that region.
Prior to this role, Annabel held the position of Chief Marketing Officer for North and South Europe, where she has led marketing strategy for nine years.
At Deloitteâs EMEA firm, she will be responsible for Deloitte's marketing strategy in the EMEA region â which the company says will unlock âsignificant market opportunityâ.
On LinkedIn, Annabel said she was âhonouredâ to be working with âan exceptional team of brand and marketing colleagues to define how Deloitte shows up in the regionâ.
Marketing leadership experience
In her former role as Chief Marketing Officer for North and South Europe, Annabel oversaw the go-to-market strategy across the firm.
According to Deloitte, she provides âdirection to a wide range of activityâ â spanning corporate brand positioning, building CXO communities, developing industry eminence and taking propositions to market â through approaches such as sponsorships and targeted client relationship management.
She first joined Deloitte in 2005 as a Corporate Marketing Manager, and over the course of 21 years has progressed to leadership positions including Brand and Marketing Director, Chief Marketing Officer for the UK and Global Olympic Marketing Leader.
Before joining Deloitte, she worked for companies including The Chartered Institute of Marketing, PA Consulting Group and NestlĂŠ.
As Chief Marketing Officer for Deloitte EMEA, Annabel says she will have three key priorities: building a brand that stands for âtrust, purpose and progress,â shaping Deloitteâs narrative around what clients need and where markets are heading and fuelling growth with sharper market and client insight.
Launching Deloitte EMEA
First announced in February, Deloitte EMEA was launched in June to strengthen the companyâs collaboration across the region at greater pace. The company has 16 participating firms across the EMEA region, which operate in more than 80 countries. These firms are led by 6,000 partners and hold 132,000 employees, with reported revenues of âŹ20bn (US$23.29bn).
âDeloitte EMEA uniquely strengthens our ability to invest at scale across borders to accelerate innovation in areas that matter most to our clients,â says Richard Houston, CEO of Deloitte EMEA. âIt builds on our market-leading local partnerships while supporting collaboration at a regional level.â
According to Deloitte, its EMEA firm will accelerate priorities of the business through regional investments in innovation, technology platforms and talent development.
Over the next four years, Deloitte EMEA expects to deploy more than âŹ1.5bn (US$1.74bn) of incremental investment in areas such as Gen AI, sovereign cloud capability, sector-specific solutions and technologies designed to support clients who are navigating changing markets.
âThe EMEA region forms a critical component of the global economyâŻââŻhome to many of the worldâs most influential companies, and a key market for multinationals headquartered around the globe,â says Joe Ucuzoglu, Global CEO of Deloitte.
âOur clients expect leadingâŻexpertiseâŻwherever it is based, alongside seamlessâŻcross-border and technology-enabledâŻdelivery at speed. The creation of Deloitte EMEA will enhance our ability to deliver the very best capabilities to the worldâs leading companies.â
